I've got three styles so far; a large
curved bench, a small curved bench, and a small rectangular bench with
molded grape accents on the ends (not shown). I love custom work, and
can put anything you want on them. Since I cast both seat and legs myself,
you get a very good deal! I also can do mosaics on existing benches and
restore damaged pieces.

The small curved bench. It measures 32"
long x 15" wide x 3" deep. The legs come in two styles. These
are14" tall x 12" wide and 6" thick, and I can put small
mosaic designs on them, too.

Small benches (both curved and rectangular)
start at $500.00 with legs, $400.00 without. Prices vary depending on
complexity of pattern. All legs are $50.00 each. Leg-mosaic extra.

The Bateman's bench- Actually a
restoration project. The bench itself is more than a century old and was
in serious need of repair; its original mosaic had been nearly obliterated
by time, events, and two generations of treasure-hunting kids with chisels.
The Karsten's bench. Done on an existing
concrete bench, about 5 feet long. The fish is a portrait of their favorite
koi, and is life-size.

The Meyer's bench. Another existing-bench
project; the bench itself came from a garden place and was so boring that
they used it as something to put flowerpots on. Not anymore.

Our own bench, sitting by our pond. This
is the large curved bench. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but it's
a few inches wider and longer than the small one. The legs stand 16"
tall and are about 6" x 10" at the base. Very stable, very heavy.
Easily decorated with more mosaic.
Large benches are $600.00 with legs,
$500.00 without.
The small rectangular bench measures
16" wide x 32" long x 2 inches thick. I can either paint the
grape accent molding on the ends, cover them over, or insert pieces of
glass into the moldings while casting to make them really pretty!
Prices vary due to size and complexity
of pattern and the prices of certain colors of glass.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not ship these
things! Due to rising gas and shipping rates, sending one of these via
the postal service or UPS would cost more than the bench itself, and in
any case, I don't trust them not to break it. (All my benches and legs
are cast in concrete and can weigh up to 90 lbs.) If you want one or have
a bench that you would like me to decorate, please contact me at bluespanch@yahoo.com
and I'll try to work something out with you.
